Fred Perry's tennis background
Fred Perry was one of the most successful tennis players of his generation. Born into a working-class family in Stockport, England, Perry began playing tennis at an early age. He quickly developed into a talented player, winning his first tournament at the age of 17. Perry went on to enjoy a highly successful career, winning 10 Grand Slam singles titles and becoming the first man to win all four major tournaments in a single year. After retiring from tennis, Perry opened a successful clothing line, which bears his name to this day. Tennis inspires many of the designs in the collection, from sporty polo tees to sleek tennis shoes.

The famous laurel wreath logo
Fred Perry's logo is one of the most iconic and recognizable designs in fashion history. The simple logo, which consists of a laurel wreath, has been used on everything from T shirts to bags to shoes. Perry first introduced the logo in 1952, and it quickly became synonymous with the brand. Today, the laurel wreath logo is recognized around the world as a symbol of quality and style. While other brands have come and gone, Fred Perry's laurel wreath logo has remained an enduring symbol of British cool.
